Vicente Rodríguez returns home as institutional ambassador for Valencia CF
Valencia CF have appointed Vicente Rodríguez, one of the most emblematic players in our most recent history, as ambassador for the club.
During his playing career, Vicente Rodríguez (16/07/81) played more than 400 games and 11 seasons for Valencia CF, winning LaLiga twice (2001-02 and 2003-04), a UEFA Cup (2003-04), a European Super Cup (2004) and a Copa del Rey (2008).
The winger stood out as one of the best players in the world in his position and contributed decisively to building a successful era in which Valencia CF were named Best Club in the World in 2004, according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). Following his retirement, Vicente returned to Valencia CF to perform technical secretary duties between 2016 and 2018.
